Saturday Sails kick off on May 4

Explore our living rivers -- RiverQuest's Saturday Sails begin again on Saturday, May 4, and continue most Saturdays through November.

This season's theme is Rivers of Life.  Step on board for a family-friendly one-hour sail and discover how people use the rivers to live, work and play.  Search for tiny forms of life in a river water sample, and learn about the river valley ecosystem and its complex food web. Fashion a fun river animal bobber before you leave!  Kids 16 and under: do it all and earn a RiverWorks Discovery® Fun Patch, sponsored by the Port of Pittsburgh Commission!

Tickets are available in the main lobby of the Carnegie Science Center.  Adults: $9.95; children 12 and under $5.95.  Click here for the Saturday Sails schedule.
