The Pittsburgh Foundation's 2013 Day of Giving is Wednesday, October 3, 2013 from 12:00 am until 11:59 pm. Donations made to RiverQuest at PittsburghGives.org during that 24-hour period will be eligible for a pro-rated portion of a match pool of funds, based on all donations received online during the Day of Giving event.

MasterCard and Visa minimum donations are $25; there is no maximum. Up to the first $1,000 of any gift will be eligible for the match. Your gift of any size will help RiverQuest continue the mission to engage students of all ages in hands-on science learning experiences that develop critical thinking skills, as well as promote awareness of our vital river ecosystems.

Thanks to the support of The Buhl Foundation, RiverQuest weekend sails feature new early learner-friendly activities joining our popular environmental science and sightseeing activities for all ages. RiverQuest/ASSET Institute: STEM on the Rivers

RiverQuest and ASSET team up for a 4-day institute (on land and water) that explores the processes of inquiry within the context of freshwater ecology. Career Awareness program: Who Works the Rivers
The Waterways Association of Pittsburgh's career awareness program for high school students in grades 11-12 will take place on Tuesday, October 29 on board the Gateway Clipper Fleet.
