World Environment Days this Spring
Weekend sails explore biodiversity, water quality
RiverQuest observes World Environment Day this April through June, with new weekend public sails ticketed through Carnegie Science Center. Come aboard to discover biodiversity and the complex relationship between humans and nature, learn about current ecological issues and why "Water Matters!"

RQ's Bayer Summer Sustainability Camp announced
RiverQuest is proud to announce the third year of our world-class international science and sustainability camp, sponsored by Bayer USA Foundation and Bayer Science & Education Foundation. A select group of American and European students age 14-16 will meet for two weeks of study and fun, all centered upon the topics of sustainability and ecosystem preservation.  The residential Camp runs from July 16-28, 2010, and acceptance is by competitive application.

2010-11 School Registration period coming soon!

Member School District registrations for 2010-11 start on March 8, and general school registration begins soon after, on March 15.  Call early for the best choice of fall 2010 and spring 2011 school field trip dates!

RiverQuest ASSET Environmental Science Institute for Inquiry
ASSET Inc. and RiverQuest present a five-day institute this spring for primary and middle school teachers. Participants gain skills in teaching strategies like the use of science notebooks and effective questioning and inquiry that can be incorporated into any discipline to increase student learning. The 5 days are spread out in March and May to avoid school standardized testing schedules, and include sessions on board, streamside, riverside and at ASSET. Not to be missed!
