Answers from last month's 1995 quiz questions:

Which event did NOT occur in 1995?

a. USPS raises the price of a first-class stamp to $0.22

The price of a stamp in 1995 was already up to $0.32.

Which 1995 economic factoid is WAY OFF?

b. One gallon of unleaded gasoline cost about $2.20 in the US

The cost in 1995 was about $1.09 per gallon of "regular unleaded."

Here's a new one: A RiverQuest Math Logic Riddle.

The 2010-11 school year is RiverQuest's 15th year sailing.

Imagine this:

IF we had only 1 student come on board in 1995,

and THEN in each following year the number of students boarding

the vessel was double the total from the year before (2 come in 1996, 4 come in 1997...)

How many students would be coming on the boat in 2010?

The answer next time!
