Life on the river is humming this fall!  Don't miss out on this season's RiverQuest adventures:

School field trips are underway with up to 90 students per trip sailing for amazing explorations of our environment.

Teachers -- registration is underway for September 29 - Environmental Science on the Three Rivers 1-day Workshop; October 20 - Free EXPLORER 3-hour Teacher Preview;  and November 5 & 18 - River of Words 2-day Workshop that combines science and the arts!

Coming in October, we'll seek out the Spirits of the Riverfront to celebrate the haunting season.

This month's Question:

With the autumnal equinox at hand, Halloween is around the corner. Superstitions abound. Crows and ravens, which can be seen throughout the river valleys of southwestern PA, are featured in numerous myths and legends.

What's the difference between a crow and a raven?

The answer next time!
